'Tracks and Traces' is a statement piece that is a simplified depiction of an Australian Outback scene. I often work with a drone to obtain aerial images of interesting places that inspire me to paint similar scenes. The tracks show marks people leave behind by either working or playing on this rugged and harsh landscape. The richness off the colours and shapes are what really attract me. 
 
Colours: orange, ochres, yellows, blue, brown, white
Acrylic on stretched canvas 100 x 100cm and with rich a dark brown stained timber frame. The framed size is a touch over 103 x 103cm.
